Basic Grounding Exercise

Life can get pretty busy and stressful. Try this simple check-in and see if anything changes in your internal experience:

  1. Find your feet on the floor, wiggle your toes. Feel how your feet press onto the ground and how the ground pushes up on them.

  2. Take one slow breath, and notice how the air moves in and out.

  3. Look around you, let your attention land on one thing you see or hear, and name it without judging it.

The steps are super simple, but they’re really powerful. This might feel easy or difficult. Either way is okay. What you’re practicing is strengthening your connection to your body, the present moment, and organizing your thoughts for more clarity.
